HEB 9800 - Seminar in Advanced Hebrew Grammar A PhD seminar focusing on Old Testament Hebrew grammar and related issues. It will examine recent contributions to the linguistic study of Old Testament Hebrew, the linguistic dimensions of the language (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, discourse pragmatics, and historical grammar), textual criticism, and other special issues dealing with the Hebrew of the Old Testament. 3 semester hr(s). Prerequisite(s): HEB 5110 - Biblical Hebrew: Interpretive Foundations for Ministry I , HEB 5120 - Biblical Hebrew: Interpretive Foundations for Ministry II , and HEB 6500 - Biblical Hebrew Syntax and Exegesis or equivalent courses.
