Christian Ethics

The Bachelor of Science in Christian Ethics equips students to construct a biblical framework through which to understand how God’s righteousness is applied to all aspects of life and to engage culture in a thoughtful manner. This program is ideal for those seeking vocational training through the BS program and for those seeking additional theological training at the seminary level.

In addition to the Core Curriculum with Vocational Electives or Business Minor , Christian Ethics majors must complete the following:

Christian Ethics Major - 45 Hours

OTS 1100 - Old Testament Survey 3 semester hr(s).
NTS 1100 - New Testament Survey 3 semester hr(s).
BTI 1100 - Hermeneutics 3 semester hr(s).
THE 3110 - Christian Theology I 3 semester hr(s).
THE 3120 - Christian Theology II 3 semester hr(s).
HIS 3100 - Church History Survey 3 semester hr(s).
EVA 1100 - Evangelism: Nature and Practice 3 semester hr(s).
OTS 3800 - OT Book Study OR NTS 3800 - NT Book Study 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 3600 - Introduction to Christian Ethics 3 semester hr(s).
Choose SIX of the following ETH selectives:
ETH 3610 - Moral Foundations of Marriage and Family 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 4503 - Systems of Moral Philosophy 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 4620 - Christian Ethics and the State 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 4630 - Ethics of War and Peace 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 4640 - Created Order and Environmental Ethics 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 4650 - Ethics of Wealth and Poverty 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 4660 - Social Justice and Race Relations 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 4670 - Ethics of Life and Death 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 4690 - Moral Decision-Making and the Will of God 3 semester hr(s).
ETH 4695 - Christian Sexual Ethics 3 semester hr(s).
