    Evangelism experience in partnership with NAMB, local churches, and other Southern Baptist seminaries during annual Crossover events. This trip takes place in the week preceding the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention. Students will receive training and practical evangelistic experiences in a North American setting.

  • MIS 7510 - Cross-Cultural Communication


    The study and practice of communication of the Christian faith across cultural and social boundaries through both verbal and nonverbal messages.     Students and their mentors will develop a learning covenant designed to help the student attain four objectives, set in the areas of language learning, culture acquisition, evangelism, and church planting. Mentors will work with their students, as designated in the Mentor Handbook. Throughout an 8 month period on the field, the mentor will assess the student’s progress in each of the stated objectives as well as a number of other areas (as indicated on the Church Planting Evaluation form, included in the Mentor Handbook).
