Certificates

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and the College at Southeastern offer several different academic Certificates at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, Southeastern offers special certificates through the GO Certificates program.

If you are a student seeking an appointment through the International Mission Board, please note the IMB Seminary Requirements .

Undergraduate Certificates

Undergraduate-level certificates are administered through The College at Southeastern. Students will take undergraduate-level courses to complete the certificate.

Graduate Certificates

Graduate-level certificates are administered through the Seminary. Students will take graduate-level courses to complete the certificate. For detailed information, including the admissions process and how to register for Graduate Certificate courses, see the Graduate Certificate Policies  page.

Non-Academic Credit Certificates

GO Certificates
Note: GO Certificates do not provide students with official academic credit.

Southeastern wants to bring our classroom to all people in any stage of experience or understanding. We have designed a program to provide sound teaching with practical application in an efficient format that can fit even the busiest schedules. Taught by our world-class faculty, we want to prepare all church members to grow in their knowledge of Scripture and to live out the Great Commission wherever they are. Click here for more information about GO Certificates.

Global Theological Initiative (GTI) Certificates

GTI Certificates offer non-accredited certificate options for international leaders in a cross-cultural setting who are participating in an approved Global Theological Initiative cohort. These certificates are only offered through Global Theological Initiatives partnerships. They are 1-hour certificate courses that do not offer an option for leveling to undergraduate or graduate work.
