CERT 1123 - Youth Ministry Communication
This course is designed to help students understand and analyze the development of youth disciples within the context of communication theory and praxis. This course provides an understanding of communication in three primary youth ministry contexts: small group discipleship, instructional teaching, and biblical preaching to an adolescent audience. Long-term life transformation within the youth context occurs as young people are exposed to a clear and relevant presentation of scriptural truth. Current and prospective youth ministers must therefore learn how to link the dynamic truth of Scripture with a largely biblically and spiritually illiterate youth audience.
