DMN 8205 - Great Commission Foundations for Student Ministry Leadership

This seminar offers an advanced study on foundational issues in student ministry leadership within the context of the local church. Special attention will be given to establishing a ministry philosophy that is shaped by an intentional focus on the Great Commission. Students will examine how this specialized ministry context fits within the overarching ministry and mission of the local church and alongside the God-given role given to parents as primary disciple-makers for their own children. Consideration will be given to how a Great Commission-shaped philosophy influences every aspect of practical ministry planning, implementation, and training.
