APO 9590 - Reliability of the Bible
An advanced seminar on the historical and textual foundations for the trustworthiness of Scripture, with particular attention to the New Testament and the historical Jesus. Emphasis is given to manuscript evidence, canon formation, archaeological data, historical reliability, and responses to critical challenges. Students will analyze objections to biblical authority and articulate academically responsible defenses of Scripture’s reliability.
