HTH 9610 - Seminar in Early Church Life and Practice
The seminar will focus on the nexus of thought and practice in the Christian church from the Post-Apostolic period to the fifth century. Particular practices include baptism, the Lord’s Supper, preaching, worship, evangelism, and church leadership. Emphasis will be placed on how Christians lived their faith in their areas, and the course will demonstrate the areas of diversity and unity within the church. 3 semester hr(s).
