Within the Seminary’s Master of Divinity program, a woman may concentrate in Ministry to Women in order to prepare for Christian ministries other than the pastorate. This track will prepare women for a wide variety of family, church and mission ministries: (1) in church staff and denominational ministries to women; (2) in evangelistic work; (3) in women’s conference ministries; (4) in advocacy work; (5) in teaching the Bible; (6) in addressing the practical, moral, and spiritual needs of women.
The Master of Divinity Ministry to Women track requires the 70-hour M.Div. Foundational Core and 15 hours of Women’s Studies core and selective requirements for a total of 85 hours with an overall GPA of 2.0 or better. Prior to registration each semester, students should meet with the program director of Minsitry to Women to receive counsel and advice on track requirements. The Danvers Statement describes the perspective from which courses in the Ministry to Women track are taught.

*In the M.Div. Core, Ministry to Women students are encouraged to take CED 6250 - Foundations for Ministry to Women I in place of PMN6500/PMN6730, and CED 6270 - Women & Communication in place of PRS6500.
