The purpose of the Master of Arts New Testament is to enable students to accurately interpret and faithfully apply the New Testament text by increasing their (1) competency in the Greek language, (2) facility in sound hermeneutical principles, and (3) ability to synthesize key theological themes. It will prepare students for faithful interpretation of Scripture in various ministry settings, and for advanced academic study of New Testament studies beyond the Master’s degree.
