At the heart of Southeastern’s mission is to provide trained, passionate and humble men of God to serve as pastors in Southern Baptist and other evangelical churches. The impact of godly pastoral leadership in building Christ’s church cannot be overstated. The Preaching and Pastoral Ministry track prepares students for pastoral ministry in the local church with a special emphasis on expository preaching. Beyond the 70-hour M.Div. Core, students take both required track courses and selectives in preaching and pastoral ministry.
Degree Requirements
*In the M.Div. Core, Preaching and Pastoral Ministry students take PMN 6500 - Pastoral Ministry and Leadership ; they will take PMN 6730 - Christian Leadership in the track requirements.
