Theology


The major in theology introduces students to the discipline of theology and selected Christian doctrines. Students will study biblical theology, theological methods and systems, great works in the history of theology, and the role of contextualization in Christian theology. Theological selectives allow students to study specific Christian doctrines.

In addition to a selected major and a Christian Studies minor, all baccalaureate students must complete at least 24 hours in additional courses, which may be applied toward a second major or a second minor. In order to graduate, baccalaureate students must complete at least 127 credit hours. Any hours remaining after the student’s major and the Christians studies minor may be used as free electives.
