Bachelor of Science and the Vocational Requirement

The Bachelor of Science degree is composed of a General Studies Core Curriculum, a Christian Studies Minor, a major, and vocational training electives* for a total of 127 hours. The requirements for each of the available majors are linked below in the degree requirements.
*The vocational requirement must be satisfied by one of the following options:
- Transfer into Judson College with a tent-making vocational A.A./A.S. degree from a community college;
- Dual enroll at Judson College and a community college in order to receive theological and vocational training at the same time; students must provide documentation from the community college outlining the vocational degree or certification requirements they will be pursuing;
- Complete the Business Minor ;
- Complete the Teaching Licensure Track as part of the English (with Teaching Licensure Track) , History (with Teaching Licensure Track) , or Social Studies (with Teaching Licensure Track) majors.
All external credits must be transferred to Judson College before the start of their final semester. Students will not be allowed to graduate unless the Registrar’s Office has received a final transcript with all the necessary vocational credits.

Each student must select a major. Current majors include: Free/Vocational Electives - 39 Hours
Elective hours must be used toward vocational training as outlined above in the program requirements. However, if a student pursues the Business Minor or needs additional hours after transferring in a vocational associate’s degree or certificate to Judson College, those hours can be completed via free electives. |
