In addition to the General Studies and Christian Studies requirements , all baccalaureate students must complete either a second major, a minor, or two minors. In order to graduate, baccalaureate students must complete at least 126 credit hours. Any hours remaining after the Christian Studies major and the student’s major or minor(s) are free elective.
The purpose of the B. A. in Christian Studies is to give the student a strong foundation in the liberal arts and biblical and theological studies. The Major in Worship Ministry allows the student to study biblical and theological foundations of Christian worship and build skills in music and leadership for worship ministry in the local church. There are no additional admission requirements for the Major in Worship Ministry, although students will be asked to demonstrate performance skills for appropriate placement in music applied study courses.
