The purpose of the Master of Arts in Ministry to Women is to prepare students for effective ministry through courses that focus on roles of biblical womanhood, teaching and discipleship, and evangelism specifically to women. Courses will provide an overview of biblical womanhood, insight into counseling, teaching and discipling women and girls, and instruction in the practical outworking of the Christian life. The program will also provide opportunities for guided experience through a supervised field ministry requirement, thus enabling students to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom.
Admissions Requirements
Admission to this program is limited to women holding a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent who also meet all other admission requirements for the seminary.
Degree Requirements
Master of Arts in Ministry to Women students must complete 30 semester hours of the standard Master of Arts core studies, 30 semester hours of Women’s Ministry courses, and 3 semester hours of electives for a total of 63 credit hours with an overall GPA of 2.0 or better.
