Certificate in Christian Worldview

This one-year certificate in Christian worldview is designed for students who want a basic grounding in the teachings of Christianity but who also desire a more technical or professional degree in a secular institution. This program provides basic training in Bible, Theology, Christian Philosophy, and Hermeneutics. Students who take this one-year certificate program will then transfer to other institutions where they will study a different discipline. This program is perfect for students who want to serve Christ in the professional workplace but are not able to study theology for four years.

OTS 1110 - Old Testament I: Pentateuch and Former Prophets 3 semester hr(s).
NTS 1110 - New Testament Introduction I: Jesus and the Gospels 3 semester hr(s).
BTI 1100 - Hermeneutics 3 semester hr(s).
THE 3110 - Christian Theology I 3 semester hr(s).
HIS 2110 - Church History I: Patristic, Medieval, and Pre-Reformation 3 semester hr(s).
PHI 1100 - Faith, Reason, and the Christian Mind 3 semester hr(s).
HOI 1110 - The History of Ideas I: Introduction to the History of Ideas 3 semester hr(s).
EVA 1100 - Evangelism: Nature and Practice 3 semester hr(s).
