Certificate in Biblical Studies and Theology

Southeastern’s Certificate in Biblical Studies and Theology is a 7-course program of study offered to a preselected cohort of students participating in the Raleigh Executive Training Program desiring to learn basic proficiency in biblical content and theological method. The program is designed to be flexible enough to accommodate the schedule of workings students, as well as those with family responsibilities.

The workload for certificate-level credit includes full participation in all lecture and interactive assignments for a seminary course, but only the equivalent of one credit hour of reading and writing assignments. The specific assignments and workload will be detailed in each individual course syllabus.

When combined with proper leveling course work (and payment for 2 additional hours of credit), credits earned in the Certificate in Biblical Studies and Theology can be applied toward various degrees at Southeastern.
