Evangelism Track, M.Div.

The Evangelism track prepares students for a wide variety of evangelistic ministries in local churches. In particular this degree will prepare vocational evangelists, denominational leaders in evangelism, ministers of evangelism, or similar vocational ministries related directly to the field.

M.Div. with Evangelism students complete the 60-hour core, 21 hours in the evangelism track, and 9 hours of electives for a total of 90 hours with an overall GPA of 2.0 or better.

Degree Requirements

In addition to the M.Div. Core , students specializing in Evangelism must complete the following courses:

Evangelism - 21 Hours

Track Core Courses - 9 Hours

ETH 6550 - Moral Foundations of Marriage and Family 3 semester hr(s).
PRS 6500 - Sermon Delivery 3 semester hr(s).
PMN 6590 - Supervised Field Ministry 3 semester hr(s).

Track Selectives: Select 12 hours from the following courses.

MIS 6540 - North American Church Planting 3 semester hr(s).
MIS 6560 - Church Planting in a Global Context Practicum 3 semester hr(s).
EVA 6720 - Prayer and Spiritual Awakening 3 semester hr(s).
EVA 6820 - The Church for the 21st Century 3 semester hr(s).
EVA 6950 - Introduction to Sports Evangelism 3 semester hr(s).
EVA 6940 - Women and Evangelism 3 semester hr(s). (Designed for women in the M.Div.-WS track or female students in the M.Div.-Evangelism track.)
EVA 6920 - Missional Approaches to Reaching Unchurched America 3 semester hr(s).
EVA 6993 - Practicum in Itinerant Ministry 3 semester hr(s).

Electives - 9 Hours
