BCO 7120 - Ethical and Professional Issues in Counseling


A study of the ethical and professional guidelines and issues in counseling in a mental health context. Topics to be addressed are: the history of the counseling profession from a Christian worldview perspective, current issues in the practice of counseling, ethical standards and practices, credentialing, potential roles, professional organizations, and counseling diverse populations. 3 semester hr(s).
