It will examine recent contributions to the linguistic study of Old Testament Hebrew, the linguistic dimensions of the language (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, discourse pragmatics, and historical grammar), textual criticism, and other special issues dealing with the Hebrew of the Old Testament. 3 semester hr(s).
