The Bachelor of Science in Student Ministry is designed to train student ministers with the goal of developing mature disciples of Christ. It includes training in evangelism, discipleship, counseling, and communications. This program is ideal for students seeking vocational training through the BS program and for those seeking additional training at the seminary level.
Students must complete twenty-one hours of BS Electives in addition to one of the three additional options: Vocational, Business Minor, or Entrepreneurship minor. Please ensure that you have communicated with the Registrar’s Office about which of these options you are pursuing.
If a student is not actively enrolled in classes at Southeastern for a year, their account will become inactive. In order to avoid this if doing vocational electives elsewhere, students must be enrolled in a Continuous Enrollment course. Students should inform the Registrar’s Office (email@example.com) when they are taking elective courses elsewhere and not actively taking courses at Southeastern.
