Ministry to Women Minor

This minor is designed to prepare women for Christian ministries other than the pastorate. It will prepare women for a wide variety of family, church, and mission ministries: (1) church staff and denominational ministries to women; (2) evangelistic work; (3) women’s conference ministries; (4) advocacy work; (5) teaching the Bible; (6) addressing the practical, moral, and spiritual needs of women. The Danvers Statement describes the perspective from which courses in the Ministry to Women minor are taught.

Minor Requirements

MIN 3632 - Foundations for Ministry to Women 3 semester hr(s).
MIN 3633 - Bible Exposition for Ministry to Women I 3 semester hr(s).
MIN 3635 - Women’s Ministry in the Local Church 3 semester hr(s).
THE 3260 - Biblical Theology of Womanhood 3 semester hr(s).
Select two of the following courses:
BCO 4621 - Counseling Women 3 semester hr(s).
HIS 4930 - Women in Church History 3 semester hr(s).
MIN 3650 - Ministry to Teen Girls 3 semester hr(s).
