Student Ministry (BA & MDiv)

Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Five-Year Degree Plans

The major in Student Ministry is designed to train student ministers who envision student ministry as a partnership between church and family, with the goal of developing students as maturing disciples of Christ. In addition to the foundational course in student ministry, the major will train potential ministers in evangelism, discipleship, counseling, and communication.

Billing

Students will be billed at the undergraduate tuition rate for all Bachelor’s degree coursework and at the graduate tuition rate for all Master’s degree coursework. For that reason and because of financial aid ramifications, students should reach out to the Registrar Office before starting any Master’s degree coursework.

Academic Advising

All five-year students are required to meet with the Office of Student Success to be cleared to register for upcoming classes.
