Academic Catalog - Spring 2025
Bachelor of Science with Vocational Electives or Business Minor
|
|
The Bachelor of Science degree is composed of a General Studies Core Curriculum (43 hrs), a Christian Studies Minor (24 hrs), a major (21 hrs), and vocational training electives* (39 hours; see below for details) for a total of 127 hours. The requirements for each of the available majors are linked below in the degree requirements.
*All Bachelor of Science students at Judon College are required to either: (1) transfer to Judson with a completed “tent-making” associate’s degree or certificate from an undergraduate institution; (2) dual enroll at Judson College and an undergraduate institution to complete a “tent-making” associate’s degree or certificate while completing the BS degree at Judson College (students must provide documentation from the undergraduate institution outlining the vocational degree or certification requirements they will be pursuing); (3) complete the Judson College Business Minor and satisfy the remaining hours with free electives.
Students who transfer in an associate’s degree or who dual enroll at Judson College while completing a vocational degree/certification from an undergraduate institution (options 1 and 2 and 4 above), must have all their credits transferred to Judson College before the start of their final semester. Students will not be allowed to graduate unless the Registrar’s Office has received a final transcript with all the necessary vocational credits.
