The purpose of the Master of Arts in Students Ministry is to prepare students for effective leadership through courses that focus on leadership development, discipleship, Bible exposition for students, and pastoral wisdom and care for middle school and high school students.
For informational purposes only: The MA Student Ministry degree is awaiting final approval from ATS accreditation. The courses are available and students applying for this degree are able to follow the course sequence.
Admissions Requirements
Admission to this program is limited to persons holding a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent who also meet all other admission requirements for the Seminary.
Degree Requirements
Master of Arts in Student Ministry students must complete 37 semester hours of core studies and 12 semester hours of prescribed Student Ministry courses for a total of 49 semester hours of credit with an overall GPA of 2.0 or better. Not more than 10 additional semester hours may be taken to make up a deficiency in quality points that are required for the MA in Student Ministry degree.
