The College at Southeastern is a school of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The College offers undergraduate associate and baccalaureate degree programs as well as a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies.
All baccalaureate students at The College at Southeastern complete a major in Christian Studies and either a second major, a minor, or two minors. The first major in Christian Studies, also known as the Core Curriculum, is composed of two elements-General Studies (48hrs) and Christian Studies (36hrs). Second majors are available in English, History, Humanities, Missions, Music, Pastoral Ministry, and Theology. Minors are available in Apologetics, Biblical Studies, English, English as a Second Language (ESL), History, Humanities, Missions, Music, Organizational Leadership, Pastoral Ministry, Preaching, Student Ministry, and Theology. The requirements for each of these majors and minors are listed below.
In addition to the Christian Studies major , all baccalaureate students must complete either a second major, a minor, or two minors. In order to graduate, baccalaureate students must complete at least 126 credit hours. Any hours remaining after the Christian Studies major and the student’s major or minor(s) are free electives. |
